Poteet Construction, Inc. is based in Missoula, Montana and provides asphalt milling and recycling services throughout the western United States.

Poteet Construction began operations in 1987 as a heavy highway contractor specializing in culvert installation and traffic control.

In the early 1990's, we purchased a small milling machine and began milling trenches for installation of utility lines and services.  Soon thereafter, we purchased a mill designed for rumble strip milling.

As the industry expanded in Montana, large prime contractors were in need of an in-state contractor that would provide quality work and be able to commit to a high production schedule to meet their needs.  Poteet Construction was asked to purchase a high production full lane machine to meet this demand.
